Revanth Reddy Defends Delhi Outreach Strategy for Telangana Development

Addressing officials at the inauguration of the new Karimnagar district Collectorate, Reddy argued that regional development requires a pragmatic approach to federal relations. He pointed to tangible progress, including the transfer of 170 acres of defense land and authorization for a key road project beneath the Begumpet runway, as proof that cooperation yields results. The Chief Minister stressed that while ideological differences with the central leadership are inevitable, they should not obstruct the delivery of public services.

Reddy also challenged the opposition’s focus on his travel frequency, framing his diplomacy as a necessary duty rather than a political liability. He argued that massive state investments remain unproductive without federal approvals, making consistent advocacy a requirement for governance. Turning his attention to the civil service, the Chief Minister urged employees to view their roles as a moral commitment to the vulnerable. He emphasized that the efficacy of the state government depends on a responsive bureaucracy that prioritizes grievance redressal, promising that his administration would continue to address staff concerns as they work to build public trust.
