Florida Teen Struck by Truck During TikTok Filming Stunt

The incident unfolded around 8:10 pm near the Ocala West Plaza. According to the Ocala Police Department, the group had placed cameras on the road's median to capture the footage. The situation escalated when an SUV exiting a shopping complex collided with a passing pickup truck. The force of that impact sent the truck veering toward the median, where it hit the teenager.

Emergency responders transported the victim to a local hospital with serious injuries. While viral rumors briefly circulated regarding the teen's status, police confirmed on Monday that he survived the collision. No other individuals involved in the crash reported injuries. Witness Yaj Lerom, who later posted footage of the aftermath online, reported hearing the group describe the sudden violence as they were sent "flying" during the filming. Ocala Police spokesperson Jeff Walczak urged the public to avoid recording content on active roadways, emphasizing that such stunts create life-threatening hazards for both creators and commuters. The investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
