KTR rallies BRS cadres to defend Hyderabad-Rangareddy-Mahbubnagar MLC seat

During a series of strategy meetings at Telangana Bhavan, Rama Rao pointed to the previous success of candidate Surabhi Vani Devi as a blueprint for the campaign. He stressed that the party’s path to retaining the seat relies on systematic, coordinated efforts from local leadership and an aggressive push to register eligible graduates. Rama Rao urged party workers to involve their families in this outreach, treating voter enrollment as the campaign's top priority.

He argued that the electorate is increasingly disillusioned with both the BJP’s national trajectory and the policies of the Congress government in Telangana. According to Rama Rao, government employees and unemployed youth alike are expressing frustration over unfulfilled promises, creating a political opening for the BRS to capture both contested Graduates’ MLC seats. He noted that similar optimism was shared by party leaders from the Warangal, Khammam, and Nalgonda regions during recent reviews. The BRS leadership now aims to leverage this perceived discontent through a unified, well-planned enrollment drive that focuses on consolidating its base across the state.
