Addressing the public in the Alwar district, Sharma accused senior Congress leaders, including former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, of obstructing critical inter-state water agreements. He specifically highlighted the Kishau Multipurpose Project, asserting that water will soon flow from Uttarakhand to Rajasthan, effectively debunking claims that the Yamuna water supply would remain stalled. Beyond the water dispute, the Chief Minister pledged to supply free electricity to farmers by 2027 and confirmed the immediate commencement of work on the Neemrana Dam under the Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project.
The development package also includes the construction of a 45-meter-wide master plan road and the strengthening of the Tijara to Ferozepur-Haryana border route. Administrative reinforcements were also announced, with new offices for the Public Health Engineering Department and the Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam being established at the Khairthal district headquarters. Union Minister Bhupender Yadav echoed these sentiments, highlighting the BJP's recent sweep of local body elections and promising that the persistent sewage issues in Bhiwadi would be resolved before the next monsoon season. The event, attended by a broad delegation of state officials and local representatives, signaled a concerted effort by the state government to solidify its influence in the newly formed district.
