YSRCP Accuses Andhra Pradesh Government of Marginalizing Dalits

During the event at the YSRCP Central Office, party figures contrasted current conditions with the tenure of former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. They argued that previous governance prioritized education, welfare, and social dignity, whereas the current state administration has presided over a deterioration in law and order. According to the party, this shift has left women and disadvantaged communities particularly vulnerable to rising discrimination.

MLC Lella Appi Reddy and former MP Nandigam Suresh, joined by other party representatives, invoked the legacies of Jashuva and Bhagat Singh to frame their opposition. They characterized Jashuva’s literary resistance against untouchability and Bhagat Singh’s revolutionary sacrifice as foundational ideals for their ongoing political struggle. The party affirmed its commitment to challenging what it labels as anti-people policies, maintaining that the welfare models established under YS Rajasekhara Reddy and YS Jagan Mohan Reddy remain the necessary blueprint for social equality in the state.
