The performance wove together early tracks from the album Boy with anthems such as With Or Without You and Vertigo. In a nod to the school’s current musical talent, 30 local students joined the quartet to provide strings for a rendition of One.

Beyond the nostalgia of the schoolyard, the band signaled a new chapter, confirming their upcoming album, Carnaval De Luz, arrives November 13. The record includes a posthumous duet with Dolly Parton. Addressing the crowd, Bono credited the school’s staff for fostering their early ambitions and reaffirmed the band’s deep connection to their Irish heritage.
