By placing ministers directly in front of international financiers and engineering firms, the IDB hopes to facilitate partnerships that prioritize sustainable, resilient, and inclusive transport systems.
Central to the agenda is the role of institutional capacity. Discussions will scrutinize how public agencies can better manage project lifecycles to attract and retain private investment. The event will also serve as a venue for diplomatic developments, with an expected cooperation agreement between the event organizers and Spain’s Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility. IDB Group President Ilan Goldfajn is scheduled to headline the summit, emphasizing the necessity of aligning public policy with the technical and financial expertise of the global engineering community.
