BJP leaders condemn mimicry of PM Modi at Congress event in Indore

Congress leaders have dismissed the accusations, framing the performance as standard political satire. Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge challenged the BJP’s reaction, questioning why the ruling party appears fearful of wit and humor, while pointing to past derogatory remarks made by BJP members against Congress leadership. Madhya Pradesh Minister Narendra Shivaji Patel added that while political criticism is a necessary part of democracy, it must remain grounded in respectful, issue-based discourse rather than personal attacks.
