Kerala Government Weighs ED Request for FIR Against Pinarayi Vijayan

The Enforcement Directorate’s push for an FIR follows an ongoing investigation into financial transactions linked to Cochin Minerals and Rutile Limited (CMRL). This probe recently saw the agency conduct searches across eight locations in Kozhikode. While the agency continues its scrutiny, those named remain defiant. PA Mohamed Riyas has publicly rejected the allegations, labeling them as falsehoods and vowing to contest the investigation. Meanwhile, Pinarayi Vijayan has defended his daughter’s financial dealings, asserting that all relevant payments were properly documented and taxed.
