BRS Leaders Stage Black-Clad Protest Against Congress Government

Dressed in black shirts emblazoned with slogans of betrayal, Bharat Rashtra Samithi leaders gathered at Gunpark on Monday to confront the ruling Congress government. Working President KT Rama Rao and MLA Harish Rao led the demonstration, marking a public escalation against the administration’s failure to deliver on its foundational campaign promises.

BRS Leaders Stage Black-Clad Protest Against Congress Government

KT Rama Rao leveled sharp accusations at the government, asserting that the party had abandoned 420 specific commitments made to the electorate. While these guarantees were initially promised for fulfillment within 100 days, the BRS leadership maintains that 1,000 days have now passed with zero tangible results. The protest specifically highlighted the use of official bond papers during the campaign, which the party argues served as a deceptive instrument to secure public support under false pretenses.

Following direct instructions from BRS Chief K Chandrashekar Rao, the party plans to bring this confrontation into the upcoming Assembly sessions. Rama Rao signaled an intent to hold the administration accountable for its record, dismissing potential political retaliation as a secondary concern. The party’s mandate is to prioritize the interests of Telangana’s citizens by aggressively questioning the state’s legislative agenda and exposing the gap between campaign rhetoric and current governance.
