He stated that Ukraine would halt airstrikes provided Russia offers a corresponding guarantee of non-aggression for the duration of the talks. Despite recent regional tensions, including German allegations regarding a drone attack on its infrastructure, Trump dismissed concerns about potential Russian expansionism, insisting that Putin has no intention of targeting NATO territory.
