Yogi Adityanath invokes historical resilience during Janmashtami

The Chief Minister drew parallels between Lord Krishna’s birth in a prison and the endurance of Indian faith, arguing that the deity’s life serves as a blueprint for justice. He pointed to the restoration of major sites like the Somnath temple, the Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya, and the Kashi Vishwanath temple as physical manifestations of this persistence. According to Adityanath, historical figures who sought to dismantle these foundations have vanished, while the nation’s identity remains intact.

He specifically credited modern efforts, including those of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, for restoring the Kashi Vishwanath Dham to its current form.
