CJP Leader Abhijeet Dipke Hails Supreme Court Ruling on NEET Protests

The Supreme Court’s decision to quash all FIRs filed against students and activists involved in the NEET UG paper leak protests marks a victory for public dissent, according to Cockroach Janata Party leader Abhijeet Dipke. The move brings legal relief to thousands who faced charges for demonstrating between July 20 and 25.

CJP Leader Abhijeet Dipke Hails Supreme Court Ruling on NEET Protests

Abhijeet Dipke described the court's use of Article 142 as a definitive moment for families and students who challenged the system after the examination controversy. He credited the outcome to the persistence of those who took to the streets at Jantar Mantar and those who amplified the issue through social media, noting that the collective pressure forced a resolution. Following the ruling, the CJP officially cancelled a protest demonstration that had been scheduled for September 5.

During a press briefing, Dipke met with the families of students who died amid the crisis, including the parents of Akanksha, Kahaan Patel, Pradeep Meghwal, and Riya Thapa. He offered a public apology for the collective inability to protect those students, placing the blame squarely on government failure. Dipke stated that his party held over seven meetings with delegations from Delhi in recent days to coordinate efforts aimed at securing justice and preventing further unrest. He emphasized that the legal reprieve serves as a validation for every participant who refused to back down despite facing threats and police action during the height of the protests.
