The scale of the devastation remains fluid as rescue teams navigate the site. Beyond the confirmed fatalities, more than 130 people sustained injuries during the assault. Medical officials reported that 29 victims, among them five children, currently remain in serious condition. In total, 22 minors were caught in the blast, highlighting the civilian cost of the strike.
President Volodymyr Zelenskiy labeled the attack an act of barbarism and called for a unified international response to what he categorized as state-sponsored terrorism. As the conflict approaches its four-and-a-half-year mark, the tactical focus has shifted toward these intensified strikes on urban infrastructure, further hardening the positions of both Kyiv and Moscow.
