Satyanarayana targeted the government’s recent direct appointment of teachers under a three percent sports quota, which bypassed standard DSC examination protocols. During a press briefing at the Assembly Media Point, he questioned the legal standing of this order, noting that it appears to have skirted Cabinet or legislative review. This procedural shift has left 438 selected candidates in uncertainty regarding their employment status.
The opposition leader dismissed government assertions that no examination leaks occurred, pointing to audio and video evidence that allegedly captures job negotiations. While pushing for the release of the official DSC merit list, Satyanarayana also stated that the YSRCP is prepared to face a CBI inquiry into Group-I examinations held during its own previous term. Beyond the recruitment scandal, he criticized the administration for refusing to extend the Assembly session to address pressing agricultural concerns and state drought conditions.
