Singh characterized Gandhi’s rhetoric as fundamentally indecent, arguing that such language violates the established norms of Indian democratic discourse. The Defence Minister stood firmly behind the Prime Minister’s international track record, asserting that Modi’s tenure has substantially elevated India’s stature on the global stage.

He suggested that by engaging in such personal attacks, Gandhi is failing to uphold the responsibilities inherent to his parliamentary position, ultimately damaging the quality of national political debate.
