Under the shadow of Bharat Mandapam, Vice-President C P Radhakrishnan launched the Har Ghar Tiranga Bike Rally 2026 on Wednesday. The demonstration of national pride drew a high-profile crowd of Cabinet Ministers and Parliament members, marking a tribute to the 150th anniversary of the anthem Vande Mataram.

The rally, featuring over 350 bikers from Central Armed Police Forces alongside various civilian groups, serves as a cornerstone for the broader campaign to honor the legacy of Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay. Radhakrishnan framed the event as a reflection of India’s trajectory toward becoming a developed nation by 2047, a vision championed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat echoed these sentiments, describing the procession as a tangible tribute to the national flag. Beyond the pageantry, the organizers aim to sustain the momentum of the Har Ghar Tiranga movement to strengthen national cohesion. The event brought together a significant contingent of government leadership, including Kiren Rijiju, G Kishan Reddy, and Virendra Kumar, to emphasize the symbolic link between historical independence struggles and current national aspirations.
