BJP Leader Demands CBI Intervention in Jharkhand Exam Scandal

Dismissing claims that the student-led uprising in Jharkhand is politically manufactured, Telangana BJP president N. Ramchander Rao has called for an immediate CBI probe into the Jharkhand Public Service Commission paper-leak scandal. He argued that the ongoing unrest reflects a fundamental breakdown in the integrity of state recruitment exams.

Rao, speaking to reporters in Hyderabad, characterized the student movement as a legitimate response to widespread rigging. He urged the state administration to pivot away from political finger-pointing and instead prioritize transparency. By shifting the investigation to the Central Bureau of Investigation, he contends that the government can finally provide the accountability demanded by thousands of disenfranchised applicants.

While acknowledging that external actors may be attempting to capitalize on the chaos, Rao insisted that the INDIA bloc and leaders like Hemant Soren should not distract from the core grievances of the protesters. For the BJP leader, the priority remains the sanctity of the examination process. He maintains that only an independent federal inquiry can restore public confidence and ensure that justice is served for those whose careers have been jeopardized by systemic corruption.
