Ranchi Protests Enter Third Week Over Examination Irregularities

Nineteen days of relentless protest at Jaipal Singh Munda Stadium have pushed JPSC-JSSC aspirants to their physical limits as the standoff over alleged recruitment fraud intensifies. Medical teams are now stationed at the site to monitor the deteriorating health of demonstrators who refuse to vacate the grounds until their demands are met.

Sadar Hospital’s SK Jha confirmed that while most students currently exhibit stable vitals, including normal blood pressure and oxygen levels, the prolonged exposure to the elements has left many feeling unwell. The protest has evolved from a demand for transparency into a broader political confrontation between the ruling administration and the opposition.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren has dismissed calls for a CBI inquiry, instead accusing the BJP of orchestrating disruptions within the state Assembly to sabotage government proceedings. Conversely, opposition leader Babulal Marandi has intensified his rhetoric, claiming the government is deliberately shielding officials implicated in the examination misconduct. As the political finger-pointing continues, the students remain encamped, awaiting a concrete resolution to the systemic issues they allege have compromised the integrity of the recruitment process.
