Concurrently, an iron and steel facility in Zaporizhzhia—a critical node for regional production—sustained heavy damage, leading to the reported casualties.
Both Moscow and Kyiv categorically reject claims that these operations intentionally target non-combatants. Despite the denials, the intensity of the damage in urban areas has drawn sharp focus to the vulnerability of transport hubs currently serving as dual-use assets in the ongoing conflict.
