Acting governor Alexander Shuvayev confirmed the toll as emergency crews navigated the wreckage of the impacted districts. The strike represents a significant breach of regional security, forcing a scramble among local authorities to contain the blaze and evacuate affected residents from the damaged housing units.

Simultaneously, the Russian Defence Ministry claimed the neutralization of over 150 Ukrainian drones across the eastern flank, targeting areas from Crimea to the Black Sea. Despite these defensive measures, persistent incursions reached as far as Novorossiysk and Ufa. The drone activity continues to leave a trail of property destruction and casualties well beyond the immediate frontline, complicating regional defense efforts and heightening the atmosphere of insecurity in affected Russian cities.
