Ramesh pointed to a pattern of behavior, citing the December 2023 Winter Session when security breaches in the Lok Sabha involving smoke canisters failed to elicit an explanation from Shah. This refusal to engage has become a recurring friction point as the monsoon session, which began on July 20, faces daily adjournments ahead of its scheduled August 13 conclusion.
