By formally recognizing the families of these revolutionaries, the state government sought to center the human cost of the anti-colonial struggle.

The Chief Minister explicitly rejected the colonial-era designation of the event as the 'Kakori Robbery Case,' arguing that such terminology deliberately undermined the patriotic intent of the participants. This focus on historical revisionism aligns with the broader 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 'Nation First' agenda. Through the ongoing Tiranga Yatra, the state aims to weave these specific revolutionary narratives into the fabric of modern national identity ahead of Independence Day celebrations.
