The Kota-born champion secured a Rs 1 crore reward for her victory in the women’s 70kg boxing category. Alongside her, the government recognized javelin thrower Yashvir Singh with Rs 30 lakh for his bronze medal, while para-shooter Mona Agarwal received Rs 2 lakh for her podium finish. These incentives highlight the state’s drive to foster high-performance athletics through direct financial support.

Chief Minister Sharma linked the success of the state’s competitors to broader national sports policies and the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The ceremony drew key political figures, including Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Rajyavardhan Rathore and Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Jogaram Patel, who gathered to acknowledge the rising profile of Indian athletes on the world stage.
