Cockroach Janata Party Launches Nationwide 'Kya Bolti Public' Campaign

Following the momentum of its Jantar Mantar protest against the NEET paper leak, the Cockroach Janata Party is pivoting toward a nationwide grassroots movement. Founder Abhijeet Dipke confirmed in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar that the group will eschew formal electoral politics to function as an independent, secular pressure group.

The "Kya Bolti Public" tour, slated to begin in September, aims to shift focus toward citizen-led discourse rather than traditional party agendas. Dipke emphasized that the initiative draws from the core values of Jawaharlal Nehru, BR Ambedkar, and Mahatma Gandhi. He warned that the current state of institutional accountability, particularly regarding the Election Commission, threatens democratic integrity, arguing that citizens must reclaim their role in the governance process.

Spokesperson Saurav Das clarified that the organization has no intention of registering as a formal political party, noting that such a move would be counterproductive in the current political climate. Instead, the collective intends to challenge government narratives and mobilize public opinion from the outside. The group also confirmed its new leadership structure, naming Abhijeet Dipke as Convener, with Saurabh, Ashutosh, and Deepak Baliyan serving in key coordination roles to manage the upcoming outreach effort.
