Rajender Rana labels Sukhu administration a syndicate

Addressing a press conference in Shimla, Rana argued that the state’s fiscal trajectory has shifted alarmingly under the current leadership. He pointed to a stark disparity in borrowing: while the state accrued roughly ₹68,000 crore in debt over the 51 years leading up to 2022, the Sukhu government has borrowed approximately ₹44,600 crore in less than four years. According to the BJP leader, these funds have failed to translate into improved infrastructure, as public services and road connectivity continue to deteriorate.

Rana further alleged that the government has weaponized state machinery to target political opponents through fabricated cases rather than addressing the needs of employees, pensioners, and farmers. He dismissed allegations previously leveled against him by the Chief Minister, challenging the administration to present any evidence of wrongdoing in a court of law. Predicting that this growing public dissatisfaction will manifest in the 2027 Assembly elections, Rana urged the government to abandon its focus on revenge and prioritize the state's economic recovery.
