Rayareddi, speaking from the Koppal Inspection Bungalow, confirmed that ministers will formally assume their duties in Bengaluru by Monday. The administration aims to achieve full operational capacity immediately thereafter. Alongside his local coordination duties in Koppal, the minister has been tasked by Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar to oversee the drought response in Gadag district.
Beginning August 7, Rayareddi will conduct a three-day tour of Gadag to evaluate crop losses. This effort mirrors a wider state mandate requiring ministers to conduct ground-level inspections to inform relief strategies. The minister expressed appreciation for his induction, attributing the appointment to the support of AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge and state party leadership, while emphasizing a collective commitment to meeting public expectations.
