Jharkhand students threaten Assembly blockade over recruitment scandal

Congress leader K Raju has publicly backed the agitators, confirming that his party met with Chief Minister Hemant Soren to advocate for student demands. The government responded by forming a cabinet-level committee tasked with bridging the gap between officials and protesters. While state minister Radhakrishna Kishore maintains that the administration is prepared for dialogue, the students remain skeptical of current administrative mechanisms.

Demands from the protest front include the immediate cancellation of all examinations facilitated by TSR Data Processing Private Limited, alongside calls for CBI and ED investigations. Student representative Radhe Kumar stated that previous movements over the last two decades were stifled, but insisted the current agitation will persist until structural reforms are enacted. With the Monsoon Session of the Assembly set to begin, the examination row has emerged as a central political battleground, pitting government assurances of reform against student demands for accountability.
