Tiwari claimed the BJP and its affiliates are systematically sowing communal friction to weaken the national resistance against their governance. By invoking the legacy of Mahatma Gandhi, the Congress leader positioned his party as a force for unity, contrasting their goal of bringing together Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, and Christians with the government’s alleged pursuit of division. He further suggested that a grassroots movement is gaining momentum to challenge what he termed the plundering of the nation.
The BJP has consistently dismissed these accusations, maintaining that its policy framework is centered on inclusive growth for every citizen. While the opposition continues to center its rhetoric on the dangers of sectarian politics, the ruling party maintains that these critiques are politically motivated maneuvers lacking substantive policy alternatives.
