BRS Accuses Congress of Using Black Magic Allegations as Political Smokescreen

Bharat Rashtra Samithi spokesperson Ravula Sridhar Reddy has rejected claims that former minister T Harish Rao performed "black magic," labeling the accusation a calculated diversion by the ruling Congress party to mask its failure to deliver on campaign promises and address internal administrative crises across Telangana.

BRS Accuses Congress of Using Black Magic Allegations as Political Smokescreen

The dispute erupted following comments from TPCC President Bomma Mahesh Kumar Goud, who publicly condemned Harish Rao for allegedly engaging in negative rituals. Reddy challenged the Congress leadership to abandon rhetoric and present actual legal evidence if they believe any wrongdoing occurred. He argued that these personal attacks serve only to tarnish the reputation of veteran leaders rather than engaging with the substantive issues facing the state.

Beyond the accusations, Reddy urged the TPCC chief to shift his focus toward the internal power struggles currently fracturing the Congress party. He suggested that the ruling administration is struggling with persistent infighting among its own legislators, which complicates governance. According to the BRS spokesperson, Telangana voters remain sharp enough to recognize these distractions for what they are—a desperate attempt to shift the spotlight away from unfulfilled commitments and a lack of clear policy direction.
