While the Wildberries warehouse near St. Petersburg sustained fire damage and the Tver regional facility suffered impacts, no casualties were reported at those locations. Regional governor Vitaly Korolyov confirmed the damage in Tver, noting that the sites remain under scrutiny as Kyiv continues its strategy of striking infrastructure deep within Russian territory to disrupt the consumer economy.
Wildberries founder and CEO Tatyana Kim has characterized the wave of drone attacks, which have hit over a dozen company sites since July 18, as acts of terrorism. The strikes represent a tactical shift in the conflict, moving beyond military installations to target the logistics networks that sustain the daily operations of the Russian retail sector.
