Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma visited the flood-ravaged Nepalikhuti area in Sivasagar district to oversee the administration’s response. Accompanied by Minister Pijush Hazarika, Sarma inspected the destruction near the Assam-Nagaland border, where floodwaters have decimated agricultural livelihoods and private property.
