Central to the government’s agenda is a Rs 147 crore Master Plan designed to overhaul amenities at Jageshwar Dham without eroding its architectural character. This initiative follows a significant uptick in tourism, with officials reporting over 400,000 pilgrims arriving within the last two months alone. Dhami linked this surge to broader developmental goals, suggesting that enhanced infrastructure will stimulate local economies and provide sustainable employment opportunities. By aligning traditional festivities with modern tourism management, the state aims to cement Jageshwar Dham as a cornerstone of its spiritual and economic landscape.
