Turkey declines Canadian-led global defence bank initiative
Days after Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney unveiled a new global defence bank initiative at the NATO summit in Ankara, Turkey has opted against participating. A Turkish official confirmed on Friday that the government conducted internal consultations and determined the country will not commit to the proposal at this stage.
