Jakarta had originally filed the complaint to dismantle trade barriers that have hampered its fatty acid exports to the European market. The final report, circulated to WTO members on Tuesday, brings a measure of clarity to the dispute, though the ruling upholds the core legal framework of the EU's protective measures.
