Dalwai, speaking to ANI, criticized the current leadership for failing to integrate seasoned party members into critical decision-making processes. He noted that the pattern of marginalization is not isolated to national committees but has become increasingly visible in regional units, specifically naming Maharashtra. According to Dalwai, ignoring the contributions of veteran figures undermines the party's collective strength during its ongoing political contest against the BJP.
Rashid Alvi echoed these sentiments, expressing personal distress over his lack of inclusion despite his lengthy tenure. He warned that the party president must immediately address these grievances to prevent further erosion of the organization's internal structure. For Alvi, the path toward future electoral success remains tethered to the party's ability to preserve unity and acknowledge the role of its senior minority leadership.
