The memorandum, formalized in the presence of Ministry of Food Processing Industries Secretary A. P. Das Joshi and NIFTEM-K Director Dr. Harinder Singh Oberoi, establishes a framework for shared intellectual property and joint funding pursuits. By fostering student mobility and faculty exchanges, the institutions intend to accelerate knowledge transfer in food science, moving beyond traditional classroom learning to address global challenges in processing technology.
Dedicated coordinators will manage the implementation of these goals, ensuring that collaborative projects remain aligned with industry needs. While the agreement serves as a non-binding foundation, it provides the structural support for long-term cooperation, potentially extending for an additional five-year term to solidify the research pipeline between Kundli and New Zealand.
