Addressing the Board of Trade in New Delhi, Goyal urged state governments to elevate exports as a core economic priority. His blueprint emphasizes the BHAVYA Industrial Parks Scheme, which commands an outlay of ₹33,660 crore to develop 100 industrial zones, and calls for immediate land and labor reforms to improve the domestic business climate. The Minister stressed that states should establish dedicated export promotion committees and conduct monthly reviews to dismantle bureaucratic hurdles for local businesses.
To support smaller players, the government is leveraging its ₹25,000 crore Export Promotion Mission, which provides financial aid for international certifications, testing, and regulatory compliance. Goyal also encouraged domestic manufacturers to engage the Directorate General of Trade Remedies if they face unfair competition from imports. Looking ahead, the government has launched a 90-Day Drive across 120 priority districts, aiming to integrate local production clusters like One District One Product into global supply chains. This push targets a future balance of US$530 billion in merchandise and US$470 billion in services exports.
