Sarbori Mukherjee Dismisses TMC Internal Disputes as Factional Fraud

Jadavpur BJP MLA Sarbori Mukherjee has rejected the legitimacy of internal Trinamool Congress power struggles, dismissing the party’s factions as indistinguishable entities built on systemic corruption. Her critique arrives as rebel groups prepare to challenge the party’s official standing before the Chief Election Commissioner.

Mukherjee argues that the search for a 'real' faction is a distraction, asserting that the party was founded primarily for resource extraction rather than political governance. She maintains that the BJP has no obligation to validate the authenticity of any group within an organization she characterizes as fundamentally compromised.

The MLA also directed sharp criticism at local leadership, specifically citing the alleged extortion activities of councillor Debraj Chakraborty. Pointing to the recent recovery of illicit gold assets linked to associates, she demanded that Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari initiate immediate, stern interventions against such financial misconduct.

Regarding the reported egg attack on MP Mahua Moitra, Mukherjee framed the incident as a manifestation of widespread public resentment accumulated during the TMC's tenure. She countered accusations of political violence by questioning Moitra’s silence during past assaults on BJP leadership, including the targeting of National President J.P. Nadda, suggesting that public frustration is now a direct consequence of years of perceived persecution.
