Yogi Adityanath Targets Caste Politics Amid Infrastructure Push

Addressing a crowd in Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched a fierce critique of caste-based divisions, arguing they fracture the social fabric. He warned citizens against political opportunists who exploit religious sentiment while simultaneously dismissing the legacies of historical social reformers and key religious figures.

The Chief Minister’s remarks accompanied the inauguration of development projects valued at Rs 613 crore. He singled out the Samajwadi Party and Congress, characterizing their past leadership as a period defined by ineffective law enforcement and recurring communal strife. According to Adityanath, his administration has successfully dismantled the cycle of riots by enforcing strict accountability and prioritizing public order.

Beyond security claims, the government showcased tangible infrastructure gains, specifically the removal of encroachments surrounding sites dedicated to Sant Ravidas Ji. These efforts are part of a broader push to modernize state facilities, ranging from the construction of a new airport in Saharanpur to significant investments in school infrastructure. These education reforms have already resulted in a measurable rise in student enrollment across the state.
