Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti Backs Fair Probe into Ram Mandir Fund Claims

Confidence in Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath remains high as investigators look into the alleged embezzlement of donations for the Ram Mandir. National Commission for Backwards Classes Chairperson Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti insists the inquiry will expose the truth, ensuring that those responsible for the financial irregularities face legal consequences.

The investigation centers on accusations that nearly Rs 7.5 crore meant for the temple project were misappropriated. An FIR lodged on June 25 officially triggered the probe, leading to initial arrests. While the case has ignited a sharp partisan clash between ruling and opposition factions, Jyoti cautioned against casting a wide net, arguing that scrutiny must remain focused solely on those directly implicated in the financial misconduct.

To ensure a thorough review of the evidence, the Special Investigation Team has received a 15-day extension. Authorities maintain that the historical significance of the site, built on the sacrifices of generations of activists, demands a transparent process where no perpetrator receives protection. Jyoti emphasized that the progress of the inquiry will ultimately clear the air, regardless of the political noise surrounding the allegations.
