Eight Killed in Fiery Bus Crash on Delhi-Mumbai Expressway

A high-speed collision between a private bus and a trailer on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway in Rajasthan’s Dausa district left eight people dead early Wednesday. The impact, which occurred at 3:15 AM while the bus was traveling from Haridwar to Indore, triggered a blaze that engulfed the vehicle.

Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Bagde and Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma issued statements expressing grief over the incident. Local officials, including Deputy Chief Minister Prem Chand Bairwa and MP Murari Lal Meena, have called for community support for the survivors and the families of the victims as the investigation into the cause of the collision begins.
