Fuel Stations and Civilian Transit Targeted in Deadly Overnight Strikes

A woman was killed and three others injured when Russian forces struck five retail fuel stations across Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk region overnight. The assault marks a broader pattern of escalation, with regional officials reporting near-daily attacks on energy infrastructure and civilian transport hubs across frontline territories.

Fuel Stations and Civilian Transit Targeted in Deadly Overnight Strikes

Regional governor Oleksandr Hanzha confirmed the strikes on the Dnipropetrovsk fuel sites via Telegram, highlighting the vulnerability of retail energy infrastructure in the conflict zone. Ukrainian authorities have documented a sharp increase in similar incidents targeting fuel depots in Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, and Kharkiv, suggesting a systematic attempt to disrupt local logistics and supply chains.

The violence extended to the south, where a separate drone attack in Kherson claimed two more lives. Regional governor Oleksandr Prokudin reported that the strike hit a passenger bus, leaving an additional five civilians wounded. These incidents underscore the persistent danger facing residents in southern and eastern regions as frontline hostilities intensify.
