Adityanath Links Cultural Preservation to Uttar Pradesh Development

Societies that disregard their legacy are paving their own downfall, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath declared in Bareilly on Tuesday. While inaugurating a statue of Pandit Radheshyam Kathavachak, he framed the preservation of cultural heritage and the honoring of ancestors as essential pillars for regional progress and societal longevity.

Adityanath hailed Kathavachak as the 'Yug-Tulsidas' of Sanatan Dharma, using the ceremony to reinforce the profound spiritual connection between the community and Lord Ram. This rhetoric served as a backdrop for a broader political critique, as the Chief Minister accused the Samajwadi Party and Congress of hypocrisy regarding their stance on such cultural icons.

Beyond the cultural discourse, the administration underscored a push for inclusive growth. Adityanath pointed to specific infrastructure and development projects currently underway in Rampur, which represent a total investment exceeding Rs 690 crore. This dual focus on heritage and capital expenditure forms the core of his administration's current strategy for the state.
