President Patrick Herminie received a Muradabadi Brass Tortoise, a piece from India’s 'Brass City' that mirrors the island nation’s own Aldabra Giant Tortoise. The presentation continued with First Lady Veronique Herminie receiving a Maheshwari Silk Stole and a Bidriware Box, both hallmarks of intricate Indian craftsmanship.

Further exchanges included an Orchid Art Painting from Sikkim for Vice President Sebastien Pillay, emphasizing shared environmental values, while Second Lady Lina Pillay was gifted Kanchivaram Silk. National Assembly Speaker Azarel Ernesta accepted a Toda Embroidered Shawl to conclude the sequence of offerings. Beyond the cultural gestures, the visit culminated in the signing of several strategic agreements and the awarding of the 'Guardian of the Blue Horizon' title to the Indian Prime Minister.
