Beyond energy concerns, the congressman highlighted a broader collapse in diplomatic confidence. Citing a conversation with the Indian ambassador to China, Khanna warned that a generation of trust has been dismantled during Trump's tenure. He insisted that failing to address these strategic failures leaves future administrations with the arduous task of repairing a frayed global network that was decades in the making.
